Meeting Room

The Simi Valley Public Library has several meeting spaces available. The smaller study and meeting rooms in the library can be used on a first-come, first-serve basis by groups or individuals.

The Library has a larger community room off the lobby inside the main entrance of the Library that is available for use by community groups according to the Library Meeting Room Policy established by the Simi Valley Library Board.

Hours of Rental

Monday through Sunday during regular Library hours.  The Community Room may be used outside of regular hours with prior approval of the Director. Additional conditions and fees may apply.

Rental Fees

Groups using the meeting room will be charged a fee for the use. A meeting room reservation application must be filed at least two weeks, but no sooner than three months, before the date of the event.

Please note:  You are responsible for set-up and break-down of the room so allow enough time in your reservation period to accomplish these tasks.

  • $50 for up to 3 hours
  • $75 for between 3 to 5 hours
  • $101 for more than 5 hours

  • 90 people (with chairs)
  • 210 people (without chairs)
